The adventure continues…

We received our mission call to serve in Uganda, Africa. Our dear friends from Tanzania, the Balilemwa’s are the new mission leaders in the newly created Kampala, Uganda East Mission. The missionary department contacted us two weeks ago and informed us that due to security concerns, our service would be temporarily be reassigned and we were called to the Wichita, Kansas Mission beginning September 7, 2026. We are willing to go wherever we are called. We have talked to our new mission leader, President Terry and he is wonderful. The Wichita Kansas Temple is set to be dedicated November 1, 2026 and we are excited to be there for that. We look forward to meeting the wonderful people of Kansas.
Stacy and I are humbled to know that the Savior knows each of us personally and will guide our path as we place our faith in Him.
Farrell recently had his 70th birthday, and as a surprise, our daughter Taushalyn arranged for all of our children to come during last weekend and visit. We spent a day in Teton National Park and Jackson, Wyoming and had a great time. Though it had rained, the weather held out for us throughout the day and String Lake, which is usually very crowded, was nearly empty. The overcast skies and wet foilage brought out the colors and it was beautiful and peaceful. We love being with our family and we are so grateful for each of them.
